Two Month Progress Update

2 month update: I’ve been working hard at reaching my goals from home without the gym that I’ve relied on so heavily over the last two years. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with the way I looked two months ago, but I definitely wasn’t feeling like myself anymore. I decided to pick up where I left off over a year ago and get back to feeling strong and healthy again.

The changes on the scale (~9 lbs) and in my appearance aren’t drastic, but I’m feeling so much happier and I’m excited to see what I can do in the coming months. Also, this is one example of what healthy progress looks like: slow and steady!

In some ways, staying home has been a blessing. It’s been easier to manage my insomnia (lately, I struggled at first) and I’ve had a lot more time to experiment in the kitchen. On the other hand, I started off my quarantine with an intense snacking habit and got stuck in a bit of an emotional and workout rut. My bootcamp crew got me through the last two months and I’ve taken up running/rollerblading (slowly)! I’ve gotten to spend more time outside than any summer before this, which has really helped with handling all of the challenges going on right now. Normally, I’d use the gym to cope but the sunshine and exercise has been a gift 🥰
