Running Update
Weather made it challenging to meet my goal of 3x per week last week :( I got two in, but they were on back to back days over the weekend. I’m prone to knee injuries and shin splints, so running back to back after not running much at all is not ideal, but it worked out okay. My pace is very slow, but I’m trying to push for 30 minutes each time. This has been doable up until this week. This current week has been much busier in terms of work and other workouts! I’ve had to squeeze runs in between meetings and other workouts. I’ve run twice already this week, which is great, but both have been immediately after other workouts and immediately before meetings for my day job. I haven’t met my 30 minute goal each time, but I’m trying to increase my speed to compensate! This aspect of my journey is toughhh but I’m making do!
